Our dog seats come in three sizes:

• Small: dogs up to 8 kg
• Medium: dogs from 8 to 15 kg
• Large: dogs from 15 kg

Almost always. Each product page shows which spot and which type of car the model suits (city car, hatchback, saloon, SUV/estate or van).

Safety comes first. Every seat has:

• wide, reinforced straps to secure the seat firmly;
• an adjustable safety leash with a 360° swivelling stainless-steel hook;
• a non-slip base;
• metal buckle clips for extra anchoring in the seat-belt buckle.

Some models have an extra attachment point or harness.

No. When braking hard, the force would go to your dog's neck, which can cause serious injury. Always attach the DogSeat safety leash to a well-fitting harness.

Many customers notice their dog becomes calmer: it lies stable, sits higher so it can look outside, and the soft raised edges feel safe. Less stress often means less car sickness too.

Most covers are removable and machine washable at 30 °C (hand washing keeps them looking good for longer). The fabrics are water- and dirt-repellent, so hair and stains usually come off with a damp cloth.

For most models:

1. Click the buckle into the seat-belt slot.
2. Put the adjustable strap(s) over the headrest(s) and tighten.
3. Attach the safety leash to your dog's harness.

Order on a working day before 3 pm (CET) and we ship the same day. As soon as your parcel is on its way you receive a tracking code.

Yes, including Norway and Switzerland. The price then excludes Dutch VAT. Import VAT, any duties and the carrier's clearance fees are not included and are payable on delivery.

Only on this website and on Bol.com. DogSeat is a registered brand: only through these channels can you be sure of an original DogSeat with warranty and our customer service.

You have 30 days to change your mind. Not happy? Return your DogSeat in its original condition and we refund you within 3 to 7 working days after receiving and checking it. Read our full return policy.

Then we exchange it for free for another size or model. This applies within 30 days, as long as the seat is undamaged. We cover both the return and the new shipment. Send us a message via our contact page and we will arrange it.
