Designed in the Netherlands, made in Europe
Your dog belongs there. So he deserves a place in the car that is just as good as at home. To create that place, we first had to be honest about our first car seats.
How it all started
Where it is began
For us, our dog is not a pet, but a full member of the family. That's where DogSeat it started. For the first two years we made our car seats in China.
The longer they were in the car, the more we saw that something was not right. The fabric was wrinkled or torn. The zippers weren’t what we wanted. And the padding, which was quite good at first, shrank within a short time. A day at the beach or in the forest, and the sand would go through it.
That didn’t sit well with us. A car seat that collapses after a short time is not the place we had in mind for your dog.
The choice
We chose the long road
We could have left it at that. But we didn't want to.
We are our own car seats Design yourself. And we were looking for an atelier close to home, in Europe, where we could be alongside the people who make them. Since the beginning of 2025, they are being made there.
By hand
In the atelier
Everything happens in our studio by hand. The skilled workers there cut the fabric, assemble each car seat and fill it.
A few times a year we go there. Then we discuss the collection together, and we look for new fabrics with the samples in our hands. We make each design together with them: we know what your dogs need, they know how to make it.

A filling that stays comfortable
The filling remains in shape and does not let sand through, even after a day at the sea.

We find the fabrics ourselves in the workshop. And we are proud of the finishing touches.

You DogSeat will last much longer than our first car seats, so together you will be able to make many more trips.
The route
That's how we are came here
The first two years
Our car seats come from China. We learn what needs to be improved.
Early 2025
The Harvey Lounge is our first model from Europe.
After that
The Nova Cruise and the Bella Adventure follow.
After that
Then come the Royal Deluxe and the Luna Cruise.
Now
98% of the collection is made in Europe.
And the the other 2%
Two models are still being manufactured outside of Europe: the Rover Breeze and the Buddy Travel. The cooling fabric in Europe Rover Breeze is difficult to find. We will continue to search.
